About Us
At A Place Meant Integrated Human Services, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. Our organization was founded on the vision of creating meaningful, community-based services that support individuals with developmental disabilities and aging adults across the lifespan.
We are committed to delivering innovative, person-centered programs that go beyond traditional care. Through services like B.A.S.I.C. (Building Adult Skills & Independence Campus), residential and in-home supports, community integration, and supported employment, we focus on building real-life skills, fostering connection, and empowering individuals to thrive in today's world.
We integrate modern tools, technology, and methods that prepare those we serve for independence — including digital literacy, safety awareness, and life skills training. We are more than a service provider — we are partners in growth, advocates for inclusion, and stewards of community.
Transportation Provided
A Place Meant provides transportation support to help eligible participants get to and from approved services safely and consistently. Transportation may be available for: Day Services, Community Integration, Vocational Rehabilitation, Life Skills Training, Adult Day / Aging-in-Place Services, Approved community activities connected to the service plan.
Transportation is based on the participant's approved schedule, location, program eligibility, and service plan. Our goal is to remove barriers, promote independence, and help individuals stay connected to meaningful services and community activities.
